Health Literacy Tool Spotlight:
Clear and Simple

Clear & Simple outlines a process for developing communications materials for people with limited-literacy skills.

Last week, we highlighted the first step: defining your audience.

The next step is to conduct target audience research. Use existing data sources and then conduct new research if you can't find critical information about your audience in the existing data.

You can collect new information through surveys, focus groups, and interviews.

Read more about this step on the Clear & Simple website.

Stay tuned! In the coming weeks, we'll go through the remaining steps in the Clear & Simple process.
