PTC MEETING MARCH 11 - OPEN VOTE
At the upcoming PTC meeting on March 11, 2020, at 7 pm in the MM ITC, there will be an open vote to lower the PTC reserve and create a PTC Special Fund. All are welcome to participate.

Elections for open PTC Executive Board positions will be held in May 2020. The nominees for the PTC Executive Board Positions 2020-2021 are as follows:

SILENT AUCTION WINNERS

This year's Silent Auction fundraised $6,914, making it the most successful and lucrative auction of its kind, to-date! Thank you to everyone who actively and enthusiastically bid and congratulations to all of the winners. Winners have been notified via email, so please check to ensure you have been made aware of your winning(s). If you believe that you won an item but have not received an email, please contact susanloren123@gmail.com. Payment can be made to the Avoca PTC via check or cash. A special thanks to all local businesses and individuals who donated towards the auction and for making this popular event possible.

Where: Avoca West Elementary School, 235 Beech Drive, Glenview, IL 60025
What: Avoca West Elementary will be holding its annual Kindergarten Parent Information Night in the Avoca West Elementary School Library. All parents of children who will be five years old by September 1, 2020, are invited to attend. Mrs. Jessica Hutchison, Principal, and the kindergarten teachers will share information about the kindergarten program. The evening is intended for parents only.

Please take a moment to provide feedback to the regarding food service at Avoca! Students in 3rd through 8th grade will have an opportunity to complete their own survey in the upcoming weeks. If your child is not completing their own survey, please complete this survey with your child so we can gather both of your perspectives. The survey will be open until March 11, 2020. Join us for a presentation on topics including creating boundaries with mobile devices, app awareness, expectations of privacy, dealing with inappropriate content, and online social conflict.
