West End SPEAKS to West End ACTS

As we all deal with this unprecedented crisis, please see available local resources below to help get us through this phase of the Coronavirus.

The City of Cincinnati can now provide residents and businesses with new digital tools for finding local information about the City’s response to COVID-19.Through the 5916000 system, you can ask about changes to City services and communicate community needs directly to City Hall. Select “COVID-19 Question” in the Choose a Service menu of the Fix it Cincy! mobile app (https://www.cincinnati-oh.gov/cityofcincinnati/cincinnati-city-hall-mobile/) or on the main page at 5916000.com to submit a question or call 513-591-6000.

The City also maintains a COVID-19 website (www.cincinnati-oh.gov/covid19) with information about the disease, the local impact and resources available. Residents and businesses can receive pertinent updates on their phone by texting cincycovid19 to 77295.

The public can also contact the Cincinnati Health Department at (513) 357-7462 or the Ohio Department of Health at 1-833-4ASKODH

Public Services (DPS) will continue to maintain priority areas of operation such as trash collection, maintaining a safe right-of-way, servicing City vehicles, and keeping City facilities safe and operating. The following programs will be suspended or delayed so DPS can focus its efforts on the priority areas of operation:

🔹Yard Waste collection will be suspended until June 1.

🔹Bulk item collection will be suspended until June 1.

There are three locations Cincinnati residents are able to take their yard waste as part of the Hamilton County "Yard Trimmings Drop-Off" program. (http://www.hamiltoncountyrecycles.org/…/yard_trimming_drop-…)

Effective immediately and until further notice, the Cincinnati Police department will not be responding for property damage-only/non-injury car accidents. Drivers involved in auto accidents should exchange information and may complete an accident at any CPD district. Parties involved in auto accidents may also report through the BMV using this online form:  http://ohiodnr.gov/Portals/0/pdfs/hr/forms/BMV%20Crash%20Report.pdf

Need Help Now? Call 211 to connect to the United Way network of local services.

Please see these additional resources created and distributed by UC Health. Please pass it along to parents, families, and the community.

The Cincinnati Public Schools Student Dining Service program will provide meal distribution sites for students to ensure that they continue to have access to healthy meals. The West End location is Hays-Porter Elementary.
