Hopeful in Uncertainty

Praying you are filled with peace and joy...

We pray this letter finds you in a place of joy and thankfulness. Like many of you, we are sheltered at home in order to stay healthy. We are able to go out for groceries and doctor appointments.
We are still hopeful to leave for Mexico in July but there are many factors that can affect the timing. The Lord knows and we trust Him in that. In the meantime we continue to work towards that goal.
"Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding has no limit." Psalm 147:5
Above: Our beloved mentors from our sending agency, Ethnos360, came out to California in January, and we got to catch up in person...what a treat.

 Support Meetings On Hold (for now...)
Over the past few months we have been joyfully meeting with families, breaking bread, and sharing what we are endeavoring to do in Mexico with the help of the Holy Spirit.
However, our current shut down has made in-person meetings impossible, and we've had to cancel all our March appointments. We are hopeful that the quarantine will let up with enough time to resume our meetings and arrive in Mexico this July.
We trust that our lives are in God's hands and He will get us to our next destination in His perfect timing. He is faithful.

Next Stop: Chihuahua, Mexico
As soon as we are funded we will drive down to Chihuahua, Mexico, where we expect to live for one year. Our primary goals are the following:
1) Finish Spanish to high fluency
2) Form a team
3) Choose a people group
These are also prayer points for us.

This is a video that we share with people when we meet with them. It brings me (Rebecca) to tears every time. The joy and freedom that the gospel brings is undeniable. We wanted to share it here in case we don't have the opportunity to meet with you.

Say Hello to Our Two New Nephews
New Nephew #1: Rebecca's sister Jenny welcomed her 1st child, baby Micah, in November 2019
New Nephew #2: Rebecca's brother David welcomed his 4th child, baby Daniel, in February 2020
We are so blessed to have two more healthy babies join our growing family. We pray they both grow up to know, follow, and love Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

Los Niños
Thankfully the quarantine hasn't affected our homeschool schedule too much besides moving our CrossFit and Ballet classes from the studio to the living room. They've been working out everyday since social life was canceled. Good times!
Above: Isei was experimenting making a torch with toilet paper and vegetable oil before the scarcity of that white gold became a reality. Ayin always has a blast watching Isei try new things.
