We bring you three successful members (Brianne Martin, Maria Rocca, and Mayra Sanchez) on a mission to break into the field and become powerful leaders. Register now!
I also want to remind you that the Gala is almost here! SHPE Houston Gala team has chosen Evelyn R. Miralles, Associate Vice President for Strategic Information Initiatives and Technologies at the University of Houston Clear Lake, to be this year's keynote speaker. In addition, we are very proud to announce the presence of Raquel Tamez, SHPE CEO, at the Gala. This year, SHPE Houston will award over 19K in scholarships to our Houston area students. We also plan to have several announcement at the Gala. But your tickets now!
It is my goal that, with your help, to lead SHPE Houston Professional to become the premier Hispanic Professional organization in Houston and increase our SHPE brand across the region. For the first time, we are partnering with Houston ISD and will have a presence at the "When I Grow Up" Career Expo, on Saturday, April 18 (10 AM - 1 PM). This is one of the largest STEM events for HISD. We need volunteers to answer questions related to your career, your experience in your industry and many other great areas of interest. Please reply to this email if interested.
