MIFGS is celebrating 25 years!
Not only is MIFGS putting on extra fantastic displays - the sculpture garden will have more works than ever before, additional workshops and demonstration events and new graphics on our site amongst the trees in the Carlton Gardens!
Workshops for people to participate in include spoon carving, clay work and limestone carving. Our demonstrations include limestone carving, resin work and this year there will be a collaborative work involving Indigenous artists Christian Jenkins, Kathryn Queama and Selina Kulitja from Maruku Arts, Uluru NT.
We hope that you will join the organising committee, the exhibiting artists and the exhibition judge at a viewing of the exhibition from 4pm on Wednesday 25th March and then later at the prize presentation. Announcement and presentation of the prizes will take place in the Lounge at Craft Squire,
127 Russell Street Melbourne.
Please refer to the invitation for details on how to access the exhibition and how to book for the presentation.
We look forward to seeing you at the exhibition. At all times outside our special viewing time you will need to purchase tickets to enter MIFGS.
