Here are the "Early Bird" Spinners on the 1st Ride of the Season on a clear, crisp evening with very little wind.
Spinner Bikers that rode on Tuesday gathered with others @ G 5 Brewery to "re-hydrate" after our Ride & to support Meals on Wheels.
SAFETY TIP:
As a side note to the ride last Tuesday, a friend of mine while driving East on Stateline Rd. about the time that several Spinners were going North on Gateway Blvd., observed them as they totally "blew through a stop sign" at the Stateline Road intersection. Yes, they were counting on others to obey the 4 way stop but last year an inattentive driver in Rockford also blew through a stop sign at a 4 way stop and unfortunately hit a bicyclist. The moral of the story is that even though it is a 4 way stop please STOP and observe other vehicles who may not be attentive and observant of stop signs.
