This newsletter would not be possible without Paulette, Rubí, Sofía, and many other women who collaborate with the Observatory.
International Women's Day (March 8), proclaimed for the first time in 1911 and institutionalized by the UN in 1975, seeks to claim equal rights and opportunities between men and women. Around the world, we want to mobilize to end gender-based violence; we are calling for economic justice and rights for all; bodily autonomy, sexual and reproductive health and rights; and feminist action for climate justice. We want technology and innovation for gender equality; and feminist leadership.
- Karina Fuerte, Editor in Chief, Observatory.
