Fix-A-Leak Week Is Here!
Welcome to Fix-A-Leak Week! The City of Frisco is proud to continue our longstanding partnership with the EPA to raise awareness about water loss in the U.S. due to small household leaks. While small household leaks may seem insignificant, they can really add up; minor household leaks waste over 1 trillion gallons of water every year!

Please join us in taking 10 minutes to check your home for leaks and help crack down on water waste. Check your toilets for worn flappers, dripping faucets, and leaking shower heads for any noticeable leaks. A leaking faucet can waste about 3,000 gallons of water a year, a leaking shower can waste more than 500 gallons, and a leaking or old-style toilet can waste about 13,000 gallons. So fix those leaks once you find them or replace outdated fixtures with new WaterSense labeled fixtures.

Not sure how to fix a leak once you find it? We can help! Register to attend our Fix-A-Leak workshop at the Frisco Discovery Center! Frisco's own licensed plumbers will teach you how to repair minor leaks with hands-on demonstrations.

Waterwise will also have tablets available to check your toilets for leaks at the Public Works building
Irrigation Station
March 20th 10am-12pm, The Depot at 6499 Page St.
Irrigation station is free and open to the public on a first come, first serve basis. Learn about your irrigation system from Frisco's own Licensed Irrigators! Participants rotate through different stations to learn about valves, heads & nozzles, leaks, controllers, and troubleshooting problems.
