CHESTERFIELD Community Climate Action Network Event Postponed
We've decided to postpone this event which we were due to run on Saturday 28th March in Chesterfield, as it clashed with three other wonderful events in the area.
If you signed up for it, you'll receive a separate email from us via Eventbrite.
We are still running a CCAN Networking event in Nottingham this Saturday 14th March - if you're booked on to this one, please do still attend. Places are still available.
The CCAN exists to support climate emergency focused groups in the area. You're all so very active at the moment (more active than we've collectively seen you be in the 11 years we've been running this service!) and putting on so many great events of your own. We don't want to get in the way of those by putting on an event ourselves!
We will look to reschedule later in spring, as we know you appreciate the chance to get together and share ideas.

Bamford Eco Day
Saturday 28th March, 10am – 4pm
Bamford Village Institute
Organised by Hope Valley Climate Action
Fairtrade tea & coffee, children’s events, how to compost, tree planting, rewilding, Hathersage Swift project, gardening swap stall, zero waste shops, Eyam Repair Café, energy efficiency, electric cars and bikes, talks and information.

Transition Belper's Green Exchange and Repair Café
Saturday 28th of March, 10am - 1pm
No 28, Market Place, Belper
Organised by Transition Belper
This monthly exchange is a chance for the public to find out more about Transition Belper’s projects. The Repair Café will also be on hand to fix and mend your broken items, so don’t throw them away! Tea, coffee and cakes will be provided, while you wait for your items to be fixed. Details of what can be repaired on the day are available through the Repair Café Facebook page. |
