🍀 Go Green in the Gardens | March 14 Go Green in the Gardens is a family-friendly event that will kick off at noon on the Devon Lawn and Band Shell at the Myriad Gardens this Saturday, March 14th. There will be live music and performances along with beer, food trucks, a variety of vendors, and face painting. A $5 wristband includes access to crafts, games and activities for children. OPENING RECEPTION
MARCH 12 | 5PM - 8PM ARSTPACE AT UNTITLED
Join ARTSPACE at Untitled for the opening reception of Chandler's exhibition LINEAR - REVERSE this Thursday, March 12. This exhibition highlights the importance of Chandler's creative process and the collaborative dynamic between him and his Vandercook press. He uses his printing bed to experiment with the modular Alpha-Blox font in large form. Using a modular system, Chandler prints his own compositions and pushes the limitations of letterpress printing.
The opening reception is free and open to the public, as well as the exhibit which will be on view through April 25.

UNITED STATES CENSUS
MARCH 12, 2020
The 2020 Census will begin on March 12. This is a tool used to collect data on the characteristics of individuals, households, and housing units throughout the country. Census data helps determine states' representation in Congress and federal funding, among many other things. Experts estimate each household that does not complete the Census survey costs our community about $1,675 in local federal fnder per person, per year for 10 years.
We are urging Oklahoma residents to complete the mailed post card they will receive in March with nine questions about their household. Residents can also respond online, by phone or in person at any Metropolitan Library System location.

OKLAHOMA CONTEMPORARY ARTS CENTER
Join Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center as they officially open their doors to the public! They will celebrate the moment with OKC dignitaries, friends, family and supporters at 10am, and then encourage visitors to explore the building and grounds. They will be open until 9pm on March 13 and March 14.
Regular gallery hours will be 11am - 6pm on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; and 11am - 9pm on Thursday. Galleries are closed on Tuesday. Free daily public tours will be offered each day the gallery is open.
