Save the Date!: April 17th Gala

The 2020 Celebrating Excellence Gala tickets will be free this year, but you will need a paper ticket for entrance. Each ADE member is allotted up to two Gala tickets, which can be picked up on the East and West banks. See the graphic below for specific times and locations. The #SeniorLeadershipCohort DC Trip

Last week, the Senior Leadership Cohort and their mentors traveled to Washington, DC to visit schools, hear from local education leaders, and see the National Museum of African-American History and Culture. The cohort visited two Friendship Charter Schools and Thurgood Marshall Academy. Check out some of their pictures below:

The Summer Principals Academy | New Orleans is a principal training program through which aspiring school leaders can earn a master’s degree from Teachers College, Columbia University. Teachers College markets itself as "advocating innovation and risk-taking to promote institutional change, our outstanding faculty introduce students to new possibilities for student learning, school improvement, social equity, and creative school design."
