Regarding COVID-19 - Novel Coronavirus

The corona virus was discussed at this week’s Committee of Management  meeting.  

In view of the potential severity of the virus, Committee resolved to do what we can to ameliorate the effects of the pandemic.  We recognise that the demographic of U3A participants is most vulnerable to the disease.

As a result of that resolution, we want to convey the following to all Members.  

If you feel unwell, have a persistent cough or a fever, please do not come to class.

If symptoms arise during class, inform the tutor, then go home.

When  you come to class:
1)      Bring your own hand sanitiser AND use it often
2)      Bring your own drinking vessel for water, coffee, tea or whatever
3)      Bring tissues 
4)      Wash your hands often
5)      Stay alert to and avoid potentially contaminated surfaces

In the event of receiving a positive diagnosis for COVID-19 virus or coming into contact with someone who has tested positive, please advise the office on 9696 3495 and email committee@u3app.org.au.
