We are excited to be offering lots of ways for you to get Creative this Spring, popular workshops such as our
'Series II Photography & Styling Workshop' with Cathy Pyle are back alongside some exciting new ones.
We are delighted to be collaborating with Swedish Garden Designer Mia Witham offering a new seasonal series of immersive workshops involving a creative make, garden tour and gardening guidance and a delicious lunch in a wonderful woodland venue starting with our Spring/Summer workshop on May 21st. Spaces are filling fast so book soon to avoid disappointment!
We also look forward to welcoming Georgie and Dörte from Curly Carrot to run their brilliant 'Making Pinterest work for Small Businesses' workshop with a tasty lunch in March held in a beautiful Suffolk barn conversion. A great follow-on for those who attended our Marketing workshop at Kinship Gatherings recently or for any business owners looking to expand their audience and customer base and get their products/makes out there.
We have also put together a new Maker's package designed to help small businesses and Makers on a tight budget get their work to market. It is a one-off three hour session offering a styled photography shoot, location and props, social media tips and tricks and guidance on creating a strong visual identity for your brand. INTERIORS PHOTOGRAPHY & STYLING WORKSHOP
Thursday 14th May, 10-2pm
This fun and immersive workshop with Photographer Cathy Pyle and Stylist Kay Prestney will take you behind the scenes of an interiors shoot in the stunning vintage destination of Louisa Grace Interiors. We will be exploring full room shots, seasonal styling and detail/vignette shots to hone your photography and styling skills whilst helping you to deepen your understanding of photography and your camera, picking up creative styling tips and exploring the practice of visual story telling.
The workshop includes a delicious lunch and glass of fizz, giving you the opportunity to forge friendships and connections with fellow participants. JUST TWO SPACES LEFT!
GARDENING & STYLING SPRING/SUMMER WORKSHOP
Thursday 21st May, 10-2pm, Fullers Mill Garden, West Stow, Suffolk. Enjoy an informative tour of this beautiful garden with Swedish garden designer Mia Witham looking at structure, seasonal planting and colour schemes; Stylist Kay Prestney will be talking about seasonal styling and how to bring the outside in to decorate your home with natural materials, we will be getting creative with a seasonal Make before enjoying a delicious seasonal lunch and glass of fizz. Mia will finish the workshop with a talk about how to translate what you have seen in the garden into your own space and what you need to be doing in the garden in May.
