News from OMD
8 days left until we greet the spring season! Whether you’re welcoming the sun back to the party, or if Spring weather hasn’t hit your town yet, this is a great time of year to take stock of where you are and engage in a little refresh and renewal. Maybe that means cleaning out your closet. Maybe it means taking more walks around the block. Maybe it just means closing the tabs you have open to read later, but never will. Whatever it is, try to soak up the energy of the season and put it to good use for you!

7 plant-based meals each week. That’s all the change you need to make happen to follow OMD.

6 days until our next round of Democratic presidential primaries. See below for a reminder on where the remaining candidates stand on the issues that affect our wild planet home.

5 minutes of mindfulness. That’s the time to pledge to “sit” and meditate each and every morning. Leave your phone on silent for a while longer. Open a window and breathe fresh air. Lay in bed and listen to your breathing. Take time for a restorative pause.

4 daily expressions of gratitude. At the end of each day, in a journal, in your Notes app, or in your head, stop to take stock and to give thanks for something in your life. The ones you love, the food that sustains you, the community that lifts you up. In these charged times, it’s important to remember the light amidst the dark.

3 R’s. As you do your spring cleaning this month, keep this classic trio in mind: reduce, reuse, recycle. Reuse what you can, recycle what you must and focus on the ultimate goal — to reduce!

2 hours. Set that time aside to prep, cook and share OMD’s plant-based take on a St. Patrick’s Day classic.

1 of you, and we’re so thankful you’re a member of our community.

Your family in action,
Team OMD
