Agri-Smart

Agri-Smart, a subsidiary of Brooklyn Bridge to Cambodia (www.bb2c.org), is an NGO dedicating to improving the lives of subsistence farmers in Cambodia through innovation.

You would work as part of a small team designing and developing innovative agricultural tools and machinery to improve the productivity of low-income farmers in Cambodia, and beyond. The products produced are primarily targeted towards the rice farming sector.

Although the role is focused on design and development, you would also be given the opportunity to take on other tasks relating to all sides of the business, including finances, external communications, and project management.

Through an internship with BB2C, you would gain a practical understanding of the design development process and develop a broad insight into the way such a social enterprise functions. The role would give you a platform to make a real difference in the organization.

The intern will get to work on pressing challenges at the intersection of social needs, the environment, and energy in Chile. Additionally, we are looking for an intern which wants to experience a startup environment. 

Projects our interns will be supporting:
1. At inodu, we have developed a data analytics platform for the energy markets that are offering to our clients. We would like our interns to support its development.
2. Support with consulting projects, the type of project will depend on the work we are executing for our clients.

Visiting Student Researcher Program

KAIST Visiting Student Researcher(VSR) Program

The Visiting Student Researcher(VSR) Program is for students who are currently enrolled in or taking a leave of absence from universities outside of South Korea and who wish to conduct research in one of KAIST’s laboratories for less than a year. This program does not provide any credit during the research period. Programs offering credits are the Exchange Program and International Summer School. Entry Requirements

All applicants must satisfy the following criteria in order to apply for the Visiting Student Researcher Program:

• Completed a minimum of 1 year full-time study at their home university


• GPA (Grade Point Average) of 3.0 or better (on a 4.3 point scale) or equivalent


• Currently studying at a university outside of South Korea and interested in doing a research at a KAIST laboratory


• Have contacted KAIST laboratories of interest and have received official permission from the professor who is in charge of the KAIST laboratory


• TOEFL iBT 80 or its equivalent on another English language proficiency test (Students whose nationality is a native English-speaking country can submit a copy of their passport instead of an English language proficiency test score)
