TrialStat News for March 2020
To our clients, partners, and industry friends,

Providing high quality, reliable solutions and services, combined with uninterrupted support of our sponsors and partners in the management of their clinical research programs, has always been TrialStat’s primary focus.

With strong corporate guidance, a high degree of caution in our business practices both at home and abroad, and well-informed advanced preparations, the TrialStat team is continuing operations at full capacity despite the recent and ongoing challenges associated with the COVID-19 virus.

As World Health Organizations continue their efforts to battle Covid-19, we here at TrialStat are doing our part to ensure the safety of our team and those around us. Working remotely, we continue to support our Sponsors and Partners as our entire industry works to ensure the safety of participants, health care workers, and research teams along with the integrity of the studies and their data.

Upcoming Events and Meetings

We have limited our travel for the foreseeable future until the situation is in hand and travel restrictions are lifted, however we have expanded our team’s abilities to engage remotely and look forward to connecting with you from afar until the situation is resolved.

Many industry events such as HIMMS have been cancelled, and we continue to monitor the situations for various upcoming meetings. DIA 2020 so far remains unchanged, and while we are currently planning to attend as usual, we will revisit this decision as further information becomes available.

From the entire TrialStat team, we wish you and yours good health as our industry and our communities work together to navigate this outbreak over the coming weeks and months.

McMaster Innovation Park acquires Hamilton Spectator building

The Hamilton Spectator building will soon become a hub for emerging life sciences companies.

McMaster Innovation Park is the new owner of The Spectator building at 44 Frid St., the newspaper’s home since 1976.

MIP plans to convert the building into a state-of-the-art hub complete with labs and office space for emerging life sciences companies.

The redeveloped Spectator building will be part of a growing MIP campus that will eventually take up much of the property between Frid Street, Highway 403 and Aberdeen Avenue.

When it’s completed, the MIP campus will employ 5,000 people and span 2.5 million square feet of space, about the same as downtown Toronto’s First Canadian Place skyscraper.
