Dear Students,
As you are likely aware, earlier today, Governor Cuomo directed all SUNY institutions, including UB, to implement plans to maximize distance learning and reduce in-person instruction through the end of the Spring 2020 semester.
Consistent with the Governor’s and President Tripathi’s directives, the law school will implement a distance learning contingency plan, effective March 23, the first day of class after spring break. From that point on, most of the courses taught in the law school will be delivered online or by other distance learning methods. Given that distance learning instruction may take more than one form, over the break, your professors will provide additional information concerning the mode of delivery.
Live classes will continue tomorrow, Thursday, March 12, and Friday, March 13, as regularly scheduled.
Please be assured that we have been in communication with the ABA. They have provided clear guidance on this matter for compliance.
Stay tuned for updates. We will provide you with more information on your courses, student events, and related issues, as it becomes available. The best place to check for campus updates remains the University Coronavirus website.
