With great resistance and regrets I'm going to join the herd and POSTPONE my events, the Heart of Texas Recumbent Rally and 'Bent Event Demo Day, scheduled for March 21st.
With all the work I face in putting it on I'm fighting against the feeling that I'm doing this just to dodge the work, but the omens are stacking up. TerraTrike, Bacchetta, and Easy Load have all cancelled industry events.
And, if I'm going to put on a demo day I'm wanting to see a big turnout, and that is looking unlikely. "Hey, 50+ year old individual, come ride this trike that everyone else has been riding. Wait. Ah-CHOO. Excuse me."
My plan is to put on the event in the fall. I will dovetail it with RCC.
