We have several updates to the schedule, with events being cancelled as a result of the ongoing concern about the Covid-19 virus. Recommendations from public health authorities for social distancing has meant that some of our activities can't go ahead as planned.

Mar 15—Pub Session: 2pm-5pm -The Barley Mow Merivale Road 1541 Merivale Rd, Ottawa ON. Everyone welcome to come play some Irish and Cape Breton music to start off St. Patrick's Week!.  Website  Good food and good beer, breakfast served until 2pm. CANCELLED



Mar 22—Reel Sloow Jam: 2pm-5pm  - Hosted by Debbie and Gary at 138 Chimo Dr. Kanata.  For more information contact Gary at garypalmer@rogers.com. BYOB SIGN UP SHEET   Currently still going ahead, make sure you are on the signup sheet to ensure you receive notice if there are last minute cancellations. 

March 29 —Concert at Orchard Walk: 3pm-4pm Please come out and help entertain the residents at Orchard Walk, it's always a rewarding experience and it brings so much joy to the residents. If you can come help out with this event please let us know: SIGN UP SHEET Orchard Walk is located at 1491 Manotick Station Road in Greely, ON.  We usually play for one hour, then visit a bit with the audience who always seem to thoroughly enjoy the upbeat music our group plays. It's best to arrive 15 minutes ahead of concert time to get seated and tuned up. Probably cancelled, awaiting confirmation. If you have signed up to participate you will get a notice directly with the details. 

Apr 5 —Pub Session: 2pm-5pm -Gracie's Brew Pub and Music Hall (formerly Grace O'Malley's East Coast Pub) 1151 Ogilvie Road Google Map Currently still going ahead, but may be cancelled closer to the date. Watch the webpage, Facebook group or Twitter feed for updates. We'll also send another email if this ends up being cancelled.

Apr 10—House Concert: 7:30pm-9:30pm - Dara Smith-MacDonald|Adam Young hosted by Debbie and Gary in Kanata. Doors open at 7pm, concert at 7:30. BYOB. Bring a little something for the snack table if you wish. To reserve seats email Gary at garypalmer@rogers.com. Suggested donation $20, pay in advance by e-transfer or cash at the door. Bring extra cash to purchase Dara and Adam's new ECMA-nominated CD Island. POSTPONED

Apr 12—Ceilidh|Dance: Dara Smith-MacDonald|Adam Young Kick up your heels at a traditional Cape Breton style square dance. No experience necessary, the three simple figures of the most common Cape Breton square sets will be called and there will be lots of friendly helpful folks to make sure you are going in the right direction. Tickets are $15 (plus service charge) in advance (button at top of message) or $20 cash at the door. Youth 16 and under $10 online or in advance. Montgomery Legion 330 Kent St. Ottawa. Third floor - wheelchair accessible (elevator). Cash bar. Bring your dancing shoes and wear light clothing, square dancing can be quite energetic! POSTPONED
