BAM Festival

Books and Music Festival is bringing together authors, teachers, students, families and the community to share their love of books on Saturday, March 7 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. From story times to lectures to workshops, there’s so much to experience at BAM Festival. For more information and a full schedule of events, visit BAMwpb.org

VISION

Ballet Florida presents VISION, an evening of fresh works by contemporary choreographers and collaborators. Experience a collection of concepts formed by the artists’ imaginations as they take form on stage on Saturday, March 7 and Sunday, March 8. Tickets start at $40. Artist Market

Rosemary Square and Dreyfoos School of the Arts Foundation are celebrating all things creative on Saturday, March 7 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Stroll this Artist Market located along Rosemary Avenue while shopping for artworks, crafts and other unique creations. The Artist Market complements other free cultural experiences taking place on March 7 at Rosemary Square including BAM, a festival celebrating books, art & music. Book Signing & Discussion With Leslie Streeter

Join Palm Beach Post columnist and new author Leslie Streeter for a discussion of her memoir, "Black Widow." The book details her first year of widowhood, following the death of her husband, Scott, in 2015. The discussion will be moderated by Librarian Jennifer McQuown, and a book signing will follow (books will be available for purchase) on Wednesday, March 11 from 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. For more information, visit wpbcitylibrary.org or call (561)868-7701.

Music in Our Schools Month - March
 
Palm Beach Atlantic University: Music, Dance and Fine Arts presents a world music ensemble. PBA is bringing traditional Irish dance music and folk songs with this special “Music from the Emerald Isle” performance at Vera Lea Rinker Hall on Friday, March 13 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 and $5 for students with ID. PBA students, faculty and staff are free. For more information, visit

Craft Month - March
 
Get crafty at Elizabeth Ave. Station! On Wednesday, March 11 from 5 - 8 p.m. you can create your own hand-stamped fabric at the Hand Stamped Batik Workshop. Batik is an ancient art of decorating natural fiber using beeswax and dyes. Cost to attend is $30. All materials will be provided. For more information,
