Awards Success
We start with fantastic news from the SPATA British Pool and Hot Tub Awards Gala Evening held to recognise the achievements of the wet leisure industry by showcasing the best examples of design, construction, installation and innovation. Cresta came away with two Golds, two Silvers and two Bronzes for their pools and spas for which we are very proud of our team.

Heat Pumps
Heat pumps have been increasingly popular when it comes to heating your pool. One advantage of a heat pump is they use electrical components and therefore don’t need regular servicing like a boiler. HOWEVER, it is important that the evaporator grill is kept clean and free of debris. The delicate fine fins of the evaporator get wind blown debris collecting in the fins which reduces the efficiency of the heater. We would recommend that you inspect and clean these fins or arrange for the fins to be cleaned whilst we open the pool.

Pool Opens & Boiler Service
We are now gearing up and looking forward to the coming season, hoping that the weather will be kind and rather less wet and windy! Don’t forget that everybody wants to be swimming at the same time, so we recommend that you book early and arrange your pool open and/or boiler/cover service to be assured that you are ready to make the most of the pool.
