Two Great Camps to Try
This year we’re doing things a little different. We have partnered two of our camps to make one great camp season; Camp Bells Bend Beaman and Camp Two Rivers (formerly GROW Enrichment Camp). For the month of June, we will be running sessions at Camp Bells Bend Beaman and then at Camp Two Rivers for July. This will allow your camper to grow a love and appreciation for three of the beautiful Metro Parks in Nashville. We encourage families to experience both camps this summer.
Each camp has a growing and successful reputation, in their own right, but we decided to merge this season to increase sustainability, exposure to families and the number of campers we are getting outside to play. These Nature Day Camps will have our same camp values, the same amazing camp staff at both camp. Each camp is the same price with the same shuttle drop off and pick up site. (SUPER convenient if you work downtown). Although we are working to provide consistency month to month, these two unique camps offer something special in each program and at each location.

Shuttle Service Available for Both Camps

We offer shuttle service from East Nashville to both camps during their season. Shuttle service will be available daily from East Park on Woodland Street. Drop off begins at 7:45 am with the shuttle departing at 8:25 am. Campers that miss the shuttle will have to drop off at camp. Shuttle arrives at the park at about 4:25 pm and all campers must be picked-up by 5:15 pm.
Why Shuttle Service?
We are aware that both camps may not be convenient for all parents. We understand the demands of parenting and want to make camp as easy as possible. We can relieve you of an extended commute by shuttling your camper to the great outdoors this summer. The shuttle option saves you many hours of driving a week, plus gives your camper(s) more camp time. Shuttle service also includes extended care, a $50 value, leading to more camp memories for your camper!
Please note that we are limited to 12 spaces for shuttle service each week. We anticipate the shuttle for each session to be full well before the camp season begins.

Camp Bells Bend Beaman is designed to form friendships and a love of nature. Our campers learn outdoor skills, such as fire-building, campfire cooking, using hand-tools, setting up a tent, bird watching and more. These beautiful parks offer access to pristine creeks and woods, plus archery and rock climbing! Your child will love spending their days outside with their new camp friends, and you’ll love their newfound independence and confidence.
Camp Bells Bend Beaman is unique because of our emphasis on developing independence, a sense of exploration and creativity in our campers. The size of this camp is kept small allowing closer counselor/camper interactions. Sessions are limited to 30 campers so make sure to register ahead of time and also take advantage of the best discount offered for the season. We expect our sessions to fill fast and be sold out based on the increased interest shown by our camp families.

At Camp Two Rivers (formerly GROW Enrichment Camp), we believe nature lovers and advocates of our earth are grown from experiences that connect children to nature in meaningful ways. Campers experience a wide range of natural habitats through hiking, exploring, imaginative playtime, crafts and making friends all while learning principles of urban conservation. The camp day is focused on teaching core urban conservation principles through hands-on exploring and experiencing nature that grows a true love and affinity for nature. Getting your kids outside to explore all the wonders that nature has to offer, while also offering a fun-filled adventure, guarantees an unforgettable camp experience.
