It’s been several months since I was last in touch but today I’m excited to send my first email of the year and share some of my plans for 2020.

2019 was incredibly busy and certainly challenged me to grow both as an individual contributor and even more so as an independent business owner.

It’s a brand new decade, and I’m excited and incredibly fortunate to be entering it having the control to pursue meaningful projects. Here’s what I’ll be working on:

  1. The Customer Driven Guide is almost complete, featuring interviews with Samuel Hulick, Asia Matos, and Mike Wilner to name a few.

  2. After running several customer discovery sprints last year I completely rebuilt the service from the ground up to make it faster, more predictable, and much more scalable to move it closer to making continuous discovery not just accessible but a no brainer investment for  companies.

  3. I’ll be writing more about my learnings building a business in this newsletter and on my personal site and moving most of my product-related writing to the new Customer Discovery Sprints blog

  4. One of my big goals for 2020 is to continue to find ways to disconnect value delivery from my time investment. Originally I thought this was something that Customer Discovery Sprints could address but the feeling I have so far is it's much more valuable as a done-for-you service than a software product. With that said I’m exploring several new product ideas to pursue. I’ll be sharing more about this and another potential web app challenge very soon.

  5. I’ve been working with the amazing team at Nth Round for as long as I’ve been consulting and it’s been great to implement a customer-driven approach to building products from end to end. I’ll be sharing some behind the scenes case studies and learnings from recent projects.
