Prayer for the week (Collect)

Almighty God,
by the prayer and discipline of Lent
may we enter into the mystery of Christ’s sufferings,
and by following in his Way
come to share in his glory;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Finding Faith Course
Next session is Wed 11 Mar - 7.00pm— Exploring Holy Communion at Clowne—all welcome.

Corona Virus
As a precaution against the spread of infection there is now some alcohol gel available at the back of church—please use this as you enter church (just as you would if you were going to hospital). Please also refrain from intincting (dipping your wafer in the wine) at communion as this has been shown to spread disease. If you do not want to share from the common cup please receive just the bread for the time being or ask for a blessing. I will use hand sanitiser before handling the elements at communion. The peace for the moment will be ’contactless’!

Annual Church Meetings
Our APCM meetings are on 15th March at Barlborough at 12.15pm and 29th March at Clowne at 11.15am. Please begin writing your reports and send to me or the PCC Secretary. Please consider whether you would like to join the PCC—a chance to be involved in the life of the church and help us move forwards. Meetings are every other month.
