What can I say?
Where do I even begin?
I’ve been in the depths of Creation.
I’ve been happy sad scared embarrassed proud excited.
I’ve slept in
I’ve lost my lunch
I’ve cried
I’ve avoided
I even had the beginning of a panic attack.
(I used tools I learned in The Course to stop the panic.
It was life-changing and I wrote about it here.)
But that is not what this email is about.
It’s kind of about what happens when you have an idea
and you think and fantasize and ponder and “put off” your idea for two years
and then, for reasons you’ll never quite understand...
(And you don’t have to – because you get to live your dreams without understanding how it works, or why – )
Things start going.
Movement.
Wheels start turning.
And once they’re in the smallest bit of motion,
momentum also starts.
And the momentum makes the motion easier.
And more motion makes more momentum.
It gets to a point where the thing is moving now, as if it has a life of its own
so that if you wanted it to stop, you’d have to put in effort to pump the brakes.
It’s not that it was seamless
or even smooth.
...Some parts were way easier than imagined.
(Most parts actually. I’ve noticed things being easy is more of a choice than we were taught.)
But it wasn’t all easy.
(The parts that are hard are where I still believe “this is hard.”)
But I’m not here to write about easy vs. hard either.
See? I told you I didn't know where to begin.
I’ll just get to the point and tell you...
