Volunteering This Saturday - Update

Hi All,

The Good News is the airbag set-up is a GO this Saturday morning. We are one of the very few clubs in Canada to have access to airbag training at their home hill. We are extremely fortunate to be able to offer this opportunity. Trampoline and Airbag/Water Ramps are the first methods of training air sense and jumps safely. The point is that our athletic kids can progress in this sport in a safe manner under the supervision of well trained and highly qualified coaches.

With that comes work for the non-users, the parents. The airbag itself is big and awkward to move. We need assistance getting it in place. There is room for 20 people to grab one side of the bag so there is no shortage of space. Makes it light work with many. We are moving it on snow, so wear appropriate footwear and clothing for lugging an airbag around.

Those who are available and able to help can meet in the lodge at 9 am Saturday morning and make our way to the run Alexander near the T-bar. We'll unfold, unroll and place the airbag below the jump. Tie it down and blow it up. Should take about 1 - 1 1/2 hours.

Unfortunately, the Mogul re-Build has been postponed due to temperatures, don't want to prematurely melt snow by disturbing it when temperatures are warm. We will reschedule for a later date, likely next weekend or possibly the weekend following.

Thank you all for your assistance.

Looking forward to seeing you there.

Sincerely,

Jay
