Life Moves Dinner on March 8
MEALS FOR FAMILIES IN NEED! St. Bede’s Community Service invites all families to participate in preparing a meal and serving dinner on March 8 for the families at Life Moves shelter in San Mateo. Unhoused families are provided with dinner, breakfast, shelter and counseling through Life Moves and its network of congregations and civic organizations. Meet in the kitchen after the 10:15 service to prepare enchilada casserole, vegetables, fruit jello and cookies. All families, and especially our children, are invited to share the fun. ARTS at ST. BEDE'S
Join the St. Bede’s choir on March 15 at 4pm, for a candlelight Evensong service featuring Angela Kraft Cross’ Magnificat & Nunc Dimittis (commissioned by the St. Bede’s Choir in 2017) as well as the premier of her anthem For Your Love’s Sake, commissioned by St. Bede’s for this service. Immediately following the service Ms. Kraft Cross will present a recital of works by Bach, Buxtehude, Mozart, and Mendelssohn, as well as her own compositions. Freewill donations will benefit Episcopal Community Services.
save the date:AUCTION AND GALA! Mark your calendars for our annual Gala and Auction on May 2nd at 6:00 p.m.! You are in for a festival of fun as we disco our way through the evening. This Disco Extravaganza is a perfect event for all ages, so be sure to bring your children and their friends, and don’t forget to include Grandma, Grandpa, Aunties and Uncles. There will be a delicious dinner, auction items and sign-up events, followed by rousing games of Disco Bingo! Watch for details and early-bird auction items to be announced.
