Tom Crew Ceramics
"whilst I enjoy greatly the process of making these humble pots – I feel they only really mean something once they are in daily use - I believe that the more something is used the more real it becomes - until then it's merely a sketch..."
Tom Crew works in mottled grey and black clays to create a host of elegant, hand-thrown vessels. Each piece is double dipped in a soft matt dolomite glaze, allowing some of the clay surface to permeate the finish. Each unique pedestal bowl and bottle are made in his Shoreditch-based studio.
