We're going green for March! Are you ready for Maker March Madness? There are a ton of challenges this month. As always, the year-long and monthly list can be found at 2020 Maker Challenges. This is the list as it currently stands as of TODAY for March.

#LottaMonth: follow @robinsnest1926 and @suestoney to make garments from Lotta Jans Dotter’s book. Tag them both and see this post for requirements. Ends March 31.
#MAGAMSewalong: Make A Garment A Month! Tag @suestoney, @sewing_in_spain, and @hportemanteau in your posts with the hashtag for your self-makes only (sewing for others is not allowed). March’s theme is Matching March (#matchingmarch). Runs through March 31.
#MarchMeetTheMaker: @joannehawker’s annual prompt-based daily photo challenge to promote small business maker brands. Use the hashtag and get the prompts and more info here. Runs March 1-31.
#MarchMadnessmMaxi: follow @carmen.salome4, @jennys_originals, @thesharonsews and their YouTube channels and use a vintage pattern (1999 or prior) to make a maxi dress or skirt, then post it with the hashtag and tag everyone. Runs until March 31.
#MIYMarch: join @thatwendyward for her annual photo-based challenge. This year it will be weekly with an overarching theme of sustainability in sewing and making. Runs through March 31.
#SMS20: the Sew My Style challenge you know and love is changing hashtags! Use #SMS20 to be found in the sea of Instagram. March’s patterns are the Laela Jeyne Willa Vest and Liesl + Co Gelato Dress & Blouse. Join the mailing list to get the patterns at a small discount and post by March 31 to be eligible for prizes.
#So50Visible: follow along with @sewover50 to use patterns that feature models over 45 year of age. More details to come.
#SewHappyColor2020: tied to #WearHappyColor2020, follow and tag @katiekortmanart and @annaroslily for weekly color-based prompts and a chance to win prizes. Runs through March.
#SewThatPatternNow: hosted by @sewitcurly, @coffeeandthread, and @justaddfabric to encourage you to use your neglected patterns. Post with the hashtag by April 30th to be eligible for prizes.
#SewTheScrapOutOfMarch: join @teaandbrie in using up your scraps to during National Quilting Month (it’s also known as #NQMScrapChallenge). Sign up for the newsletter to get in on the fun.
#SewYourView: a monthly sewalong, for March the pattern is Simplicity 8791. Pick your view and use hashtag #syvsubmission to be featured as well as #sewyourview to participate. Submit by March 31.
#StitchActivewear: follow along with @laststitch‘s activewear sewalong and showcase your own activewear. More details on her blog post. Runs through March 31.
#TheGreatModuleSewAlong: Starting January 28, put together a 6-piece module (1 topper, 2 bottoms, and 3 tops). Follow @tomkatstitcherycarmel and @carlamayfield5. Post by March 24 for a chance to win prizes.
#WearHappyColor2020: tied to #SewHappyColor2020, celebrate @katiekortmanart‘s book release with challenges and prizes. Follow her and @annaroslily. Runs through March.
#YellowDressChallenge: hosted by Fabric Mart and The McCall Pattern Company, this challenge offers prizes for making Vogue 1671 (the “yellow dress”). Your dress doesn’t even have to be yellow! Follow and tag both @fabricmart and @mccallpatterncompany with the hashtag when posting your version of the dress. Runs until March 20.
