Based on data from the City of Frisco weather station:

No watering is recommended.

We received less than an inch of rainfall last week. Please keep your sprinkler systems turned OFF.

No watering is allowed between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. during Daylight Saving Time (3/8/20-11/1/20).

GPCD - FRISCO
WATER STATS
 
The average daily water usage per person in Frisco is known as the GPCD. This week in Frisco, the GPCD was 112.

Last week, our GPCD was 104.

Calculations are obtained by dividing the total number of gallons used by the City by the population.

The City of Frisco has licensed irrigators on staff! Let our experts guide you through your sprinkler system operation and evaluate its water use efficiency.

***NEW SERVICE***
For a limited time WaterWise Licensed Irrigators are offering a FREE Irrigation Valve Locate Service. During this visit, our irrigators will attempt to locate irrigation valves, test your solenoid along with rain/freeze sensor, and reset your controller if needed. Use the
myFrisco app or call 972-292-5800 to schedule your appointment today! 

Please note that due to time constraints, they will not be able to perform a full Sprinkler System Check-up or find broken or nicked wires during a Valve locate appointment.

The 2019 Water Quality Report is available.
To receive a printed copy, visit the Public Works Department at 11300 Research Road.

The City of Frisco provides water quality and usage reports to its customers.

Look for an invitation to respond to the 2020 Census via a letter in your mailbox. This letter should arrive between March 12 and 20.

Respond to the census online, on the phone, or by mail. The results will affect community funding, congressional representation and more.
Businesses can now take advantage of Frisco's FREE Sprinkler Check-up Program!
REPORT WATER WASTE
 
We make reporting water waste easy here in the City of Frisco.

Use the myFRISCO app to 
send a real-time alert to our water patrol units. Create a request and look for "Report Water Waste."

The myFRISCO app is the best way to notify the City of waste or request services, especially outside of normal business hours. 
LAVON LAKE LEVELS

Lavon Lake is Frisco's main source of water. The lake is currently 0.19 feet above capacity or 100% full.

It is important that the City of Frisco and its water customers use water wisely.

Recycling in Frisco

There are many benefits of recycling in Frisco:

• Prolongs life of the landfill 
• Keeps monthly trash costs low
• Reduces litter/improves water quality

You can even recycle cooking/motor oil, plastic bags and Styrofoam at 6616 Walnut Street. Look for the specifically marked containers!
