Meet our newest team member at FabNewport!

Daniel Cano Restrepo is helping us with design and communications as well as assisting and growing our emerging bilingual program.

Restrepo is originally from Medellin, Colombia. His background is in Industrial Design and he has a great passion for working with the community.

FabNewport and PVD Young Makers will have our vinyl cutters and heat presses on hand to help Put your Poetry in Motion. Put original thought on a t-shirt or bag as part of national poetry month promotion in collaboration with the PVD libraries.

PVD Young Makers

FabNewport continues to transform the learning landscape in Providence with the PVD Young Makers program in the 10 public libraries.

Over the last year, our data reflects that our total visits and registered participants have grown over 50% from March 2019 to February 2020.
This means the work we do, supported by you, is undoubtedly impacting our communities.

At PVD-Young Makers, we work with ‘students’, both young and old, over extended periods of time teaching technical, artistic, and design skills while cultivating the personal attributes required for success in life.
