Vendors Wanted for the Fifth Annual
“Garage Sale at the Gale”!

NIAGARA FALLS, ON - The City of Niagara Falls Recreation Committee is calling all crafters, collectors, hobbyists and those looking to clean out their basements or garages to sell their items at the fifth annual “Garage Sale at the Gale” to benefit the Activity Subsidy Fund.

The “Garage Sale at the Gale” will take place on Saturday, June 20th, 2020 from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm in the parking lot at the Gale Centre located at 5152 Thorold Stone Road.  Last year’s event saw more than 100 vendors sign up for the event, and organizers are encouraging those who are interested in selling items to secure a parking spot soon.

With the success and strong attendance at last year’s event, we continue to encourage a diverse variety of vendors.  It’s a great opportunity for members of our community to spring clean and sell items from their basement or garage, and also provides crafters and entrepreneurs a chance to sell their items.  Most importantly, all of the money raised through vendor fees directly benefits the City’s Activity Subsidy Fund.

The Activity Subsidy Fund benefits many families in Niagara Falls by subsidizing the cost of recreation activities. Registration fees and equipment expenses are eligible and applications are received year round for the consideration of the Recreation Committee.

Individuals (vendors) wishing to sell items must complete a Vendor Application form and provide payment in order to reserve their spots. Vendors will book a parking spot, or multiple parking spots, and will be responsible for selling their own items. Fees:  $25.00 per parking spot; cube vans $40.00; all prices inclusive of HST. Vendors retain all profits from sale of their items.

The deadline for Vendor Applications is Friday, June 12th, 2020, or until spots are sold out. Applications may be found online at www.niagarafalls.ca or at the MacBain Community Centre and the Gale Centre.

Registrations must be returned and payment be made at the MacBain Community Centre, 7150 Montrose Road. Vendor applications and questions are to be directed to Dolores Sacco at 905-356-7521 x 3342 or dsacco@niagarafalls.ca.
