Parent-Teacher Conferences
We hope to meet with all parents/guardians this week during parent-teacher conferences!  Two days to choose from:  Tuesday, March 10 or Thursday, March 12.  Conferences will be held from 3:30 - 6:30 p.m. each day.

Kindergarten registration will be held Wednesday, May 6 for students that will be five (5) on or before August 1, 2020.  Read more...

Junior High Art Gallery Walk
Lake Hamilton Junior High art students will showcase their work during their annual gallery walk.  The art will be on display during parent-teacher conferences. 

LHHS Talent Show Auditions
Lake Hamilton High School talent show auditions will take place Friday, March 13 after school.  Information packets can be picked up in the high school office.

STATE RUNNER UP SWIMMERS

Congratulations to the Lake Hamilton High School Swimming Wolves for capturing the 5A State Runner Up trophy this past weekend in Russellville. The team was edged out of the top spot by the host, Russellville, with a final score of 272 to 239. Big congrats to senior, Noah Smith, for setting two state records in the 200 IM and the 100 backstroke. Noah Smith, Ethan Smith, Aidan Qualls, and Adam Albrecht made All-State by being in the top two of their events.

STATE RUNNER UP

Congratulations to the Lake Hamilton High School boys track and field team for earning the 5A State Indoor Runner Up honor this past weekend at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville! 

KINDERGARTEN CUB CLUB

Lake Hamilton Primary School has announced the kindergarten students selected for Cub Club for the month of February. These students were selected by their teaching for being great in the classroom and for being an all-around awesome kid!

STATE SEMIFINALISTS

The results are in! The National Geographic Society named Thor Seay (7th grade) Lake Hamilton Middle School, and Christopher Davidson (8th grade) Lake Hamilton Junior High, as semifinalists eligible to compete in the 2020 National Geographic GeoBee State Competition. The contest will be held at the University of Central Arkansas on Friday, March 27, 2020.

NETWORKING NIGHT

Lake Hamilton School District held a Networking Night on Thursday, February 27 in the Wolf Arena Lobby. Over 110 prospective applicants attended the event to learn more about employment at Lake Hamilton and to meet with building level administrators. Big thanks to the Arkansas Department of Education for attending this event and for answering questions about teacher licensure. There's great things happening at Lake Hamilton and we are thankful so many people want to be a part of our district.

CHOIRS EARN TOP HONORS

The Lake Hamilton Junior and Senior High choirs competed in the Region 3 Choral Performance Assessment last week. During the assessment, choirs are judged on their onstage performance and on sight reading a new piece of music in 5 minutes. Students are scored on a 0-100% scale with an A=Superior and a B=Excellent. Congratulations on the following results:

La Bella: Superior Onstage, Excellent Sight Reading

Debonair: Excellent Onstage, Superior Sight Reading

Harmonia: Superior Onstage, Superior Sight Reading

Schola Cantorum: Superior Onstage, Superior Sight Reading

Due to their scores, the high school choirs will now compete at State Choral Festival to be held in April.
