#EveryTreeCounts

As trees grow they absorb and lock up CO2 emissions in their leaves, wood and roots. This makes them vital in the fight against climate change. Native deciduous trees also provide much needed food and habitat for wildlife. Experts tell us that planting an extensive patchwork of new mixed broadleaf woodland across the UK will help us to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2050…..
…..and we can all help!

What can I do? Join us in planting hundreds of native broadleaf trees close to our Community Farm and Forest Garden sites.

When? We have 420 trees from the Woodland Trust which we are planting on Saturday 14th March 11.00 am - 1.00pm

Where? Bring a spade, wear outdoor clothing and boots and meet us at the Community Farm, off Middle Farm Way, Poundbury DT1 1AR
