Since our December 2019 Newsletter, the Trust has continued to work on the details of the Mill Road scheme with Chichester District Council.  We appointed specialist consultants to examine the flood risk issues and have completed the technical surveys of ground conditions, drainage, environmental impact, landscape setting, traffic generation and access. 
 
We also asked our architects to make amendments to the draft proposals that we presented at the public consultation event in July 2019, to take into account the comments we received from residents at that time and also to respond to the comments we received from the Planning Team at Chichester. 
 
A revised scheme has now been prepared.  We expect to submit our planning application in a few weeks’ time.  However, before we do so and as promised when we consulted the community last July, we would like to show the revised proposals to local residents and the wider village community and to consider any final comments on the revised design before we submit the planning application.
