Congratulations to the Glen Waverley Cricket Club and the players in the Glen Waverley Gold 16& Under team on their premiership win yesterday against Parkdale Blue.
It was a fantastic game showcasing the amazing talent we have in the AGCC. Both teams can be very proud of how they went about their cricket yesterday. It was wonderful to watch. Personally, I am extremely impressed with the quality of cricket at this level and the professionalism of both teams.

Libby Nicholls Cup
Congratulations to Kingston Heath (Red) who have won the inaugural Libby Nicholls Cup. From all accounts it was an excting game and a huge well done to Cluden CC and in particular the last batting pair who put on a great stand.
I know the winning coach, Hannah Bailes, thoroughly enjoyed the moment saying to me later that evening that this team didnt win a game all season last year. And this season came together with players from four different clubs. To have them gel together as a team to win the Cup was a real highlight for her and a great example of the AGCC spirit.

The season is not really over.....
Although there is nothing in the fixtures for the AGCC in coming weeks and we hope you all enjoy your evenings and Sunday morning's off, there is still plenty for us to do at the AGCC.
Just give me a few days to catch my breath after a busy season and we will be in touch with such things as a feedback survey, details of the AGCC presentation night, information of plans for YPL team selections and other events for AGCC players that are on the horizon.
THANK YOU so much for all that you do for our great competition. We hope there have been plenty of smiles, laughter and personal bests. We couldn't do this without you.

PLEASE put all of the player results in MyCricket for ALL the grades as the AGCC present awards. You wouldn't want one of your players missing out on having their efforts recognised.
