Hello Skiers & Boarders,

I wish to invite you to our Ski Club meeting on Monday, March 9, 2020, at Buffalo Wild Wings.  Our general meeting will begin at 6:30pm.  Please attend this important meeting as we will be electing Officers and Board Members.  If anyone would like to be included in the nominations of Board Members or any other office, please attend the March meeting.

The Winter Park Trip was FANTASTIC!

We just got back from an incredible week in Colorado.  Celeste Ridgway was our terrific trip leader and put together a great vacation for all.  Thank you so much for all of your hard work Celeste! 

The week started out with a nice snow storm on the 2nd day - we had about 6-8" of powder on Monday.  Then the rest of the week, we enjoyed sunny skies and great snow.  The mountain had such a variety of slopes, that everyone found something to delight them.  There were groomers and lots of intermediate slopes, in fact, most of the slopes at the peak were intermediate.  There were plenty of moguls and glades at a variety of levels.  The diamonds were pretty extreme and I don't think anyone in our crew braved a double diamond. The snow was great all week - the best I've skied in years.  The temperature was perfect too.

The Vintage hotel had plenty of room and included a kitchenette.  We took a 2 minute open gondola to the base of the village, and had a short walk to the slopes.  The Village was built by the same company that built Snowshoe's village, so it was very similar. The town was a 10 minute free bus ride away and offered a variety of shops and restaurants.  Celeste arranged our dinner on Thursday at "Strip and Tail" in town - we had surf and turf - no joke!  My lobster and steak were amazing.

Bill's Green Bandana Video! - Click on image to watch Bill!

Wear your GREEN BANDANA!  It's a great way to spot fellow club members. 

Come to the meeting to get your bandana with your paid membership for 2019/2020.

All ski club members get a green bandana.  If you didn't get one yet, let Debbie Johnston know.  Then make sure you always pack it with your helmet and tie it somewhere.  It's a great way to find the group you came with or find other members at the slopes!
