Please sign up for one of the MANY easy opportunities to help with the Bake Sale & Drinks for Pizza & Picasso. We need EVERYONE to help make this night a success!  Please sign up to bring in baked goods or drinks, or to work one of the EASY shifts Thursday night taking money, setting up or cleaning up.

All proceeds from the baked goods & drinks sold at Pizza & Picasso benefit the rising 5th Graders' trip to Washington, D.C. in 2021, so please pitch in!

5th grade parents...want coffee and donuts? Then join us on March 10th! The principal from South Charlotte Middle School will be at McAlpine on March 10th at 8:30am. Parents who attend will hear about the school and listen to current students speak on their experience at the school. Registration/class options and information will be shared. Parents will also be able to ask questions. 
Know anyone with a rising kindergartener? Invite your friends and neighbors!

 

Registration at McAlpine Elementary is now open for boys in grades 4th and 5th!

The Fall 2020 season starts on Thursday, March 19th and meets Tuesdays and Thursdays right after school (2:45pm- 4pm) for an hour and fifteen minutes, and ends with a 5k race on May 16th!

5th Grade Parents: 5th Grade Yearbook Dedication forms went home with students recently and is attached below.

2 Options for Submitting:

1) You can fill out the form - click here - (150 CHARACTERS in the message - not 150 words), email the picture to yearbookmcalpine@gmail.com, and send in money by cash, check, or pay through Pay4School to the front desk or to a 5th grade teacher; or

2) Email the picture and message (150 CHARACTERS in the message - not 150 words) to yearbookmcalpine@gmail.com and pay online through Pay4School.

Please be sure ALL information requested is included - NO BLANK SPACES (don't care what Taylor Swift says).

Dedications can be from parents, friends, immediate/extended family, the dog, cat, or goldfish.

MCALPINE MILE FUN RUN!
McAlpine Elementary School is hosting Camp Invention again this summer from June 22-25! Camp Invention is a nonprofit summer STEM program led by educators from McAlpine Elementary and gives students the opportunity to become innovators through teamwork and immersive, hands-on creative problem solving. 
Girl Scout Summer Camp Info Session
Camping is a great way for girls to explore leadership, build skills, and develop a deep appreciation for nature. Whether for a day, a week, or longer, Girl Scout camp gives girls an opportunity to grow, explore, and have fun! Come join us and learn about all that our camp programs have to offer you and your girl!
