Family Bible study material:

Each week we’ll send out some material to use with your children after the Live Stream Service.  This is a great chance to teach and model the importance of faith in Jesus through studying the bible.

Diggers and Transformers - This week, Diggers and Transformers are looking at Mark 14v32-50. Grab everything you can on the ‘What you’ll need’ list. Have a quick read through these sheets - 5 mins.

Ignite and roots - Each week we will be going through questions based on the sermon. This week, John 10 -The Good Shepherd

Could you help vulnerable families in the community?

There are many people in the local community for whom enforced social isolation is extremely difficult. We want to be able to help the most vulnerable in whatever ways we can, and one initiative that local churches are seeking to do together is to provide packs of toys, books, colouring pens, etc.  Social Services can then pass these on to families they work with who might need them now that schools have closed. We're in touch with Sutton council to work out how we might best be able to do this. If you'd like to be involved in any way - get in touch with Tim Guest.

We'll need the following:

  • Offers of toys, books, crafts, etc
  • Money to buy toys, books, etc
  • Volunteers to take on buying (online or in person - depending on restrictions)
  • Offers of volunteers happy to pack up boxes to be passed on
More details to follow - and all subject to rapidly changing situation!
Please pray:
  • Give thanks for the technology that allows us to still meet in this way.
  • Pray that the technology works well!
  • Pray God's kingdom would grow during this unusual time
  • Pray for those who are ill, anxious, or suffering during this time
Thanks all, and we look forward to seeing you on Sunday,

Sam Williamson
