Good morning,
As the situation with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to develop, we understand these times can be challenging. Our hearts and thoughts go out to the people who have been personally affected by this unprecedented event, and we greatly appreciate the healthcare workers and local and national community officials who are working tirelessly on the front lines to contain COVID-19.
We recently went to press with the April issue of The O&P EDGE. We thought it important to get the magazine into circulation for our readers, bringing you all the important O&P content you have relied on from us since 2001. As I write this, we have been working to incorporate coverage of the pandemic and the resultant fallout into our upcoming May issue.
We also understand that with daily developments in the COVID-19 pandemic, clinics and individual practitioners have questions and concerns about how to respond, so we are amping up our digital coverage. We will be bringing you regular updates via our website, social media channels, and targeted email communications.
I have been a part of the O&P industry since 1994, and I consider many of you not just readers, but friends—I am so thankful that I was able to touch base with some of you personally in Chicago at the Academy’s Annual Meeting. I am committed to making sure that The O&P EDGE is here for you during this difficult time.
I, and the entire EDGE staff, extend our sincere thanks to for your ongoing support and loyal dedication during this challenging time. Stay healthy. And, stay strong.
Regards,
Tonja Randolph, Publisher
