Upcoming: Refugee Rights Month
Refugee Rights Month is commemorated on April 4th every year in Canada, as it signifies the anniversary of the Supreme Court’s 1985 Singh decision. In this decision the Supreme Court found that the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms protects the fundamental rights of refugees. Look out for events happening in your area.

Supporting women with precarious immigration status, refugees, refugee claimants and immigrant women facing domestic violence, developed by Battered Women's Support Services, in partnership with the BC Refugee Hub.
