You won't be surprised to learn that the The Climate Crisis & Farming in East Lothian event scheduled for Monday 23rd March (organised by East Lothian Green Party) has been postponed. Hopefully it will be rescheduled as an online event very soon.
Also, the Saturday 28th March Earth Hour event organised by Dunbar Churches Together has had to be cancelled.
Likewise, the John Muir -Earth, Planet, Universe
Exhibition 2020
won't now open as planned on 1st April. However, it is being redesigned as an interactive online exhibition -more on that shortly.
BELHAVEN COMMUNITY GARDEN

We have suddenly found ourselves in strange times indeed. Coronavirus is cruelly exposing the vulnerability of our globalised economy whilst also showing how quickly ordinary people can rally round and respond positively to support others in their communities.
Here in Dunbar, the Community Council is coordinating local people to help support others, when and if needed. This Facebook page has been set up to coordinate efforts:

Voluntary Arts Scotland has launched #CreativeNetwork - a daily online get-together open to anyone involved in arts, culture and creativity who would welcome the opportunity to talk to others about dealing with the current situation, the challenges of working from home and what we can do together to make the most of difficult circumstances.
Clearly we are still very early in our experience of the unfolding coronavirus crisis but, even at this stage, can we start asking what learnings and opportunities it might create for new thinking on climate action?
