Take the Duluth-Superior Pedestrian Plan Survey

The Duluth-Superior Metropolitan Pedestrian Plan public input survey is open through August 7. Your input will help the Duluth-Superior Metropolitan Interstate Council:
  • Identify issues and barriers to walking as transportation
  • Recommend a range of solutions to improve walkability
The goal of this plan is to ensure that walking is easy, safe and comfortable for people of all ages and abilities to travel to destinations as part of their daily routine. (Note, "walking" in this plan refers to people on foot and those using assistive devices such as wheelchairs).

The Duluth-Superior Metropolitan Pedestrian Plan will be a guide with best-practice actions and locally-developed policy solutions that will support area jurisdictions in making decisions and provide a basis and support for implementing key pedestrian projects. More information about this plan can be viewed at https://dsmic.org/study/pedplan2020/. Information courtesy of Rondi Watson at the Duluth-Superior Metropolitan Interstate Council.
