Congratulations to Ani Kunchok Drolkar on becoming Dorje Lopon, Vajra Master!

On March 1, 2020, Ani Kunchok Dolkar la was enthroned as Vajra master or Dorje Lopon at Tsoknyi Gechak Ling.  This means it is her responsibility to preside over the ritual practices done at the Gompa.  If Tsoknyi Rinpoche is able to attend then he takes the role of Vajra Master otherwise the responsibility falls to Ani Kunchok Drolkar la.  Ani Kunchok Drolkar la is fully trained in the ritual practices of the Tsoknyi lineage but has been appointed to this role of Vajra Master in recognition of her many years of practice and retreat and the resulting accomplishments and realization of love compassion and mind nature.
Nepali Basic Level Exam Results

CONGRATULATIONS
to all 24 of the 8th grade students who passed with flying colors including 4 students with straight A's.

One of this year's graduates, Tsering Dachen, achieved a perfect score GPA 4.  She was one of only 7 students out of 1,200+ students to do this in the Kirtipur municipality. Well done!
A HUGE SHOUT OUT
AND CONGRATULATIONS

to Fionnuala Shenpen, Director of Tsoknyi Gechak School!  Not only is she celebrating the great success of the 2nd Graduating class of Tsoknyi Gechak School, she orchestrated the incredible task of bringing the school ONLINE during the pandemic lock-down.
Can you imagine the difficulty in learning how to use an online platform, set up the equipment and troubleshoot the glitches?  But she persevered and teachers are teaching class using live stream on Google Meet and the students are delighted school is back in session. Rinpoche was able to join them for the opening session to make sure they got off to an auspicious start.
Great work Ms. Fionnuala!
COVID 19 Update

We are very happy to report that everyone at TGL is well, and every effort is being made to keep the community safe and active throughout the lockdown.

Nepal is still in strict lockdown and currently experiencing a surge in coronavirus cases.  The nuns continue to pray daily for the health and safety of everyone.  We sincerely appreciate our donors who continue to support the nuns during this difficult economic time, especially when most retreats are cancelled and future income is very uncertain.

Rinpoche is still uncertain about the date of the consecration of Tsoknyi Gechak Ling.

Sending lots of love to the Tsoknyi Lineage Nuns community.  Rinpoche wishes us all good health and a calm, thoughtful mind.
