Hello everyone!
What exciting and crazy times we live in! SaltCON is a large event, and with that in mind, we know that many of you are wondering if SaltCON Summer, which is scheduled for June 5-6, 2020 will go on, and what changes we can expect.
First of all, we want you all to know that safety is our priority. We are following the recommendations and guidelines of the medical leaders. As individuals, we have cancelled in person game nights, and we are practicing social separation. We hope everyone is being safe, and are able to get all the supplies and food that they need. Make sure you follow only trustworthy news sources, stay calm, and follow recommended precautions.
Regarding SaltCON Summer, June 5-6, 2020 we have not had any officials declare yet that the social separation and limiting of gatherings will extend into June. With that in mind, we have not made any changes to the June 5-6 date. However, if the separate recommendations do get extended through June, then we will plan accordingly.
We know that losing game nights can be disappointing, so we recommend that you setup remote game nights where possible. Some local groups are setting up video and voice chat, through discord, google hangouts, etc. and playing board games online together through sites like these:
