Dear Patients,

We hope you and your family are keeping well with the many changes that have happened over the past weeks.  As we settle into this new temporary normal, an opportunity presents to refocus our efforts on the pieces in our lives that are truly important - our families, community, health and wellbeing.

The team at Naturopathic Family Health continue to be committed to providing our patients with the highest level of care.  Both immune and mental health are critical at this time.  Many of our patients have called or sent emails asking about how to best support their immune systems and mitigate increased stress levels.  Our providers have been sending general support information to our patients but we continue to believe an individualized approach to health is best.

To help patients make appropriate choices in this time of uncertainty, we are offering discounted 15 minute return appointments for our current patients and 30 minute initial appointments for new patients to give specific immune support recommendations.  We are also offering a substantial discount on visit packages purchased over the next two weeks to allow increased access to care for all of our patients.  Please see below for details.

Thankfully, we live in a time where technology enables us to deliver care safely and effectively from a distance.  Telemedicine visits allow us to continue to assist you on your health journey without interruption.  Many lab tests can be performed at home and easily sent to the lab for processing and any supplements our providers recommend as part of your treatment plan can be ordered online through our dispensary service and delivered directly to you.

Please continue to watch for our emails to keep informed.  Our providers will also continue to share strategies for immune and mental health support along with other health topics through the blog posts on our website:  https://naturopathicfamilyhealth.com/blog/  and on our Facebook page:  @naturopathicfamilyhealth.

Take good care.  We look forward to seeing you in person hopefully in the near future!

Managing our Stress Response in Times of Crisis

by Caitlan Gignac, ND

The past few weeks have encompassed an immense amount of change at an extremely rapid rate. Life as we know it has completely shifted from what our normal routines looked like only days before. Managing these emotions in a constructive way is central to the overall outcome of the current health crisis, as well as our quality of life while navigating the process.
