INTERIM GUIDANCE FOR RESTAURANTS TO SELL GROCERY ITEMS
NYS Department of Ag & Markets has released interim guidance for restaurants and other food service operations allowing them, for a two-week period beginning March 20, 2020, to sell foods considered to be grocery items while the COVID19 restrictions are in place.
The guidance requirements for selling packaged food items such as raw pasta, flour or sugar, refrigerated (heat and eat) meals, and ready-to-eat items intended for off-site use or consumption can be found HERE.

DETAILS FOR DETERMINING "ESSENTIAL" WORKFORCES
Under Executive Order 202.6 issued by Governor Andrew Cuomo, effective 8PM Sunday New York State has ordered 100 percent of non-essential workers to stay home, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Details regarding which businesses have been deemed "essential" and how the Order impacts employers of all types and sizes can be found HERE.

ACCESSING U.S. SBA ECONOMIC INJURY DISASTER LOANS
New York State businesses and non-profits that have been severely impacted by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) now may be eligible to receive targeted, low-interest loans through the U.S. SBA's Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program.
The program provides small businesses and targeted non-profits with working capital loans of up to $2 million that can provide vital economic support to help overcome the temporary loss of revenue many businesses are currently experiencing.
