Art Instruction Programs - Well, they're not entirely canceled!

I plan to hold what I suspect will be a small class in my studio (K1) between 12 noon and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 22.  If it's not raining, I would like to hold the class outside in the Artisan Resource Center courtyard.

Due to the social distancing practices encouraged by national and local governments I am feeling that it would be a good idea to re-think our meetings (after tomorrow) until the cautions are lifted. As the coming weeks should have some periods of nice weather, instead of canceling all classes, I hope to hold them outside as long as the weather is good enough.  We can schedule models to pose for portraits or we can focus on painting the landscape from life or photographs. If rain is in the forecast, I will cancel the class. 

I will try to Email you directly (not using MailChimp) at least a day in advance of each class scheduled in the coming Thursday mornings and Sunday afternoons. You are welcome to pay as you go—$25 per class.

I will also schedule impromptu dates for portrait drawing/painting sessions outside to replace my now-suspended figure drawing/painting group! (http://facebook.com/groups/FigureGroup)

Hopefully, this "flattening of the curve" will not have to extend beyond a few weeks.  I will definitely keep you informed of changes if you Email me directly (or just reply).
