Deanna Lee's Art News

Dear subscribers,

I sincerely hope that this message finds you and your loved ones well. While I have wanted to contact you for a while, after a spell of silence, it certainly wasn’t my intention to do so as a global pandemic is affecting all of us in both mundane and profound ways. But circumstances during the past several years have taught me, at the very least, that everything is subject to change without the slightest notice. For me, the sudden shift to a quieter daily routine is welcome and suits my proclivity for a more personal form of communication.

My aim is to send newsletters that reflect developments in my artistic practice and perspective. In an effort to tailor my mailing list to subscribers who actively want to receive news about my art activities (and perhaps random missives), I ask for your participation.

If you wish to remain on my mailing list, please reply directly to this message with “SUBSCRIBE” in the subject line.
If you wish to be removed from my mailing list, please use the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of this email.
If you don’t see this message at all because it has landed in your promotions or spam folder, and if I do not hear from you by May 1, 2020, I will remove your address from my mailing list. After then, you can always join my mailing list by going through my website Contact page or by sending me a direct message.

Obviously, for nearly everyone, the course of the near future is highly uncertain. Regarding my planned art activities through October: I have been invited to participate with three artist residencies in the United States, all physically distant from New York City and pertinent to the direction of my work. While it is immensely gratifying to receive these opportunities, their occurrence is subject to national developments related to COVID-19. Like everyone, for myriad reasons, I hope for the best.

Thanks for your interest and support, and stay well.

With fondest regards,
Deanna
